Taree Show 2022
Through rain and shine the community came out and enjoyed the 2022 Annual Taree Show!!
The entertainment arranged from dancing dinosaurs, a crocodile in the PET SHOW, oh my!! Mounted police officers, rescue services, lots of mud and fun to be had by all!
The rain was not on the shows side this year causing the cancellation of a few events which was unfortunate however the show society and community still made a great weekend of it.
Manning Valley Property & Livestock's marketing and assistant sales agent Tammy went out and enjoyed the weekend.
The rescue services were all there giving out valuable information to our community, the RFS, the SES, the VRA Rescue, mounted police unit and the army reserves. Below are a few photos collected over the weekend.

Animal judging, for the love of cattle big, small, and noisy!
The cattle were beautifully presented by the talented cattle leaders, and the sheep and goats were on display also. The roosters sure had a lot to say, we believe they were celebrating their first and second places, they were honestly such a stunning bunch and we cannot forget the ducks that ranged from small to massive. The pet show was unique, but laughs were had!
When you think pet show, you think dogs, no no... that’s not how we do it at the Taree show! There were dogs, rabbits, chickens, a goose, a goat and even a lamb. There was also a jersey cow who come over from the cattle judging to participate (unfortunately she had to leave early), Not to mention a BABY CROCODILE!!! Laughter was heard from us all!
Naturally the rabbit won the biggest ears, and the crocodile won the smallest ears! Did you know crocodiles had ears? The grand champion of the pet show was a beautiful little dog by the name of cookie!

The pie-eating competition had some big smiles and more pie on faces than inside stomachs!
MVPAL's Tammy entered the pie-eating competition and can say it is definitely harder than it looks! However, there was laughter from the contestants and the crowd as each bite covered the contestant's faces in even more pie. The pies were still warm and VERY tasty Thanks to Old Bar Bakery! The kids also had a fantastic time and got just as messy as the adults!
